Original CORTS Compound Steel liner plates, our quality _CORC-g Standard_ material; precisely finish machined according to print. 25% of the plate thickness is through hardened to 62 +1-2 HRc, providing maximum resistance to abrasive wear. 75% of the plate thickness is mild steel with a hardness of 100-140 BHN, engineered to be softer than the cast machined surfaces of the housings and chocks to protect against deformation from point and impact loading.
