VIDEX VS-25-DS; M-16/M-18 PLANETARY THREAD ROLLER

Machine Capacity and Specifications:  Hand Feed straight bars into a one row magazine.  Thread range: M-6 to M-16 @ 900 N/mm² T/S or M-18 @ 700 N/mm² T/S.  Thread length: 30-98mm (100mm TR dies) or 105mm (108mm TR dies);  Thread Rolling dies V-25 size; Ø167.8 X Ø342.9mm. H=100/108mm. 120º segments.  Minimum part length: 250mm.  Minimum betw. threads: 60mm.  Maximum part length: 750mm / 1,000mm /1,750mm.  Main spindle speed: Fully adjustable between 10 - 50 RPM.  Production rate: 45-90 PPM, based on the operator’s feeding ability.  Electrical connection: 20KW; 400V, 50Hz.  Thread length change 4 minutes on one side. 6 minutes on both sides.  Overall length change 5-10 minutes.  Floor space Only 4.1 meter X 1.1 meter. - Machine extension from 750mm to 1,000mm Machine Features:  Mechanically driven machine. No hydraulics; No leaks; No maintenance.  Preset Magazine for Quick Change from one thread size to another. The operator only changes magazines, and is not required to make adjustments to the set-up. This allows a less skilled operator to run the machine.  Optional AC speed controller, allowing the operator to adjust the rolling speed to his feeding capability, so each part can be rolled at the highest possible rate. The speed controller also allows matching the dies at a very low speed.  Quick Change of Thread Length on both ends of the blank (digital readout is optional).  Controlled Start Feed System, with a wide hold-Back finger, equalizing the blank speed to the rotary die speed at time of blank introduction. This results in a higher thread quality, less faults during feeding and better die life. This structure also results in fewer jams of the blanks between the dies.  Taper Compensation System on the segment holder, allowing adjustments for parallel threads in one minute, without shimming the segment holders.  The feed arm on the secondary head side automatically moves with the head, eliminating the need to relocate it when changing the blank length. Preset Feed Arms for each thread size are optional.
